Harkirat Kaur, daughter of former Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) chief Sukhbir Badal and Bathinda MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal, was married to Tejveer Singh on February 12. After the marriage, a reception party was organised at a private farm house in New Chandigarh, Mohali on Monday, attended by big politicians, Punjabi artists and eminent people.

The reception party of Harkirat Kaur, daughter of former Punjab Deputy CM and former Akali Dal president Sukhbir Badal, and Tejveer Singh Toor was held in New Chandigarh on Monday. Senior leaders of many political parties attended this ceremony. Many political stalwarts from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir and other states of the country attended this reception party.

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, former Jammu and Kashmir CM Farooq Abdullah, current CM Omar Abdullah, Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar, former Haryana CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Haryana Minister Anil Vij, Himachal CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, Dera Beas chief Gurinder Singh Dhillon, Punjabi singer Babbu Maan, Gippy Grewal, actor Gurpreet Ghuggi, MLA Rana Gurjit Singh and many other famous personalities attended this reception party.

Sukhbir Badal was seen warmly welcoming Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar at the reception party. Earlier, on the occasion of the wedding, many big faces of BJP including Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Piyush Goyal had reached that program.

Sukhbir Badal’s daughter’s wedding took place on February 12 at a farm house in Mehrauli, Delhi. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari, Piyush Goyal and Anupriya Patel, former Union Ministers Anurag Thakur and Ravi Shankar Prasad, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav, Dera Beas chief Gurinder Singh Dhillon, spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, former Patiala MP Preneet Kaur, Abhay Chautala and Naresh Gujral were present on the wedding day.

Sukhbir Badal’s son-in-law’s name is Tejbir Singh. Sukhbir Singh Badal and Harsimrat Kaur Badal’s daughter Harkirat Kaur got married to Tejbir Singh at a farm house in Mehrauli, Delhi. Harkirat Kaur Badal is married to businessman Tejbir Singh. Tejbir Singh is an international businessman.

It is noteworthy that Sukhbir Badal’s son-in-law originally belongs to the Doaba region. Tejbir Singh is a businessman from Abu Dhabi. Tejbir’s family is from the Doaba region of Punjab, but he has been living in Abu Dhabi with his parents for several decades. He has business in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Canada. Tejbir came to India for his wedding in January.

Before the wedding, a musical concert was held at The Trident in Gurugram on February 10. Bollywood singer Mika Singh performed in it. Many big leaders attended the wedding. Digvijay Singh Chautala, Ajay Chautala and Abhay Chautala from Haryana’s Chautala family were also present.

The wedding preparations had begun almost a month ago. On January 12, an Akhand Paath bhog was held in Sukhbir Badal’s native village Badal. After this, a Jago ceremony was held at his house in the village where Punjabi singer Afsana Khan performed.
