Now the reaction of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has come to the fore on these speculations. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has clarified that rumors are being spread by the opposition parties about the change of Chief Minister in the state, there is no truth in them.
He said that some people are congratulating me on my birthday today while today is not my birthday. People should avoid such rumors. Bhagwant Mann told this to the journalists while visiting the Tehsil Complex in Sardulgarh.
On the question of Arvind Kejriwal becoming the Chief Minister of Punjab, he said that Kejriwal is the National Convenor of Aam Aadmi Party. Sometimes he has to go to Gujarat, sometimes to Punjab, sometimes to some other state. He does not have time to become the Chief Minister of Punjab.
Visited complex and hospital in Sangrur
On Tuesday, the Chief Minister visited the newly built sub-tehsil complex and hospital in Cheema, Sangrur, apart from Sardulgarh. In future, no plane will come with Indians deported from America. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann expressed hope that now any plane that brings Indians deported from America will not land in Punjab.
He said that we had strongly opposed the three planes that were landed in Amritsar earlier. We are now hopeful that this will not happen now.
Along with this, he clarified that the state government will fully cooperate with the Punjabis who were recently deported from America. He said that the state government will provide them rehabilitation opportunities so that they can become active participants in the socio-economic development of Punjab.
Complex being built at a cost of Rs 5 crore
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday made a surprise visit to his native area Cheema to take stock of the various development works being carried out by the Punjab government and reached the tehsil complex constructed at a cost of about Rs 5 crore. After this, he visited the hospital under construction in Cheema.
During this, he talked to Dr. Niharika Goyal who was on duty. He gave information about the work going on on the rural hospital building being constructed at a cost of crores of rupees. Talking to journalists, he said that Cheema is the birthplace of Sant Baba Attar Singh, in whose memory a huge fair is held every year on 15, 16, 17 March.
In this regard, instructions were given to the Deputy Commissioner Sangrur that people should not face any kind of problem during the fair. This is his own area and his own village Satoj is just 5 km from here.
