The temperature has started rising again in Punjab and Chandigarh for the last two days. The temperature of the state has increased by 0.1 degree. This is 4.8 degrees more than normal. At the same time, the weather is expected to change from today. Now the western disturbance will affect the Himalayan region and the plains around North-West India.
In such a situation, light to moderate rain is likely at some places today i.e. 19 February and tomorrow. While a yellow alert has been issued for lightning and strong winds at some places in the state. The Meteorological Department has advised people not to stand under trees during windy and stormy weather.

According to the Meteorological Department, there will be no major change in the minimum temperature in the next 24 hours. In the next 48 hours, the minimum temperature will rise by 2 to 3 degrees and then fall by 02 to 03 degrees. At the same time, the maximum temperature will fall by three degrees in 24 hours and then rise.
