Addressing the state executive meeting of Punjab Youth Congress, Warring said that Punjab Congress is determined to bring at least 60-70 new faces to represent the state as MLA candidates in the 2027 assembly elections.

Indian Youth Congress (IYC) President Uday Bhanu Chib called upon the Youth Congress volunteers of Punjab to be ready for the 2027 elections and remove the current government of Aam Aadmi Party. Chib described the Youth Congress as the backbone of the party, as it leads from the front in every political battle.
He said that the Congress has regained its strength in Punjab by winning seven seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Chib also claimed that it is very clear that the people of Punjab are waiting for an opportunity to hand over the command of the state to the Congress. Chib said that every member of the Youth Congress should work for the victory of the party.
