Dollars from Australia, USA and Canada and dinars from UAE have been stolen from a money exchange shop in Mohali, Punjab. The incident took place when the owner had gone to pay obeisance at Gurudwara Sahib. The police have registered a case, although the police have not been able to trace the accused yet. The police is checking the recordings of the cameras installed in the area to find out who carried out the crime.

In the complaint given to the police, Sukhdev Singh told that he lives in Sector 42, Chandigarh. He runs a shop. A female employee also works with him. He has Moneygram Western Union V. He had 2500 dollars USA, 5000 dollars Australia, 2000 dollars Canada and other currencies. When this incident happened, he went to pay obeisance at Gurudwara Sahib. During this time, the female employee called and told that the back door of the office was open. When she came and checked the goods in the shop, the bag containing foreign currency was missing from the shop. The police is now investigating the matter.
