Faridabad. A driver died after being hit by a bus while changing the tyre of a canter near Arua village on Kundli-Ghaziabad-Palwal (KGP) Expressway. Taraspal Singh, a resident of Dhansani village in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh, said that he and his brother Jagpal Singh drive a canter. On the night of May 1, they were going to Baswara Rajasthan with green chillies in the canter. They had boarded KGP from Hapur Hotel.
Canter’s tyre punctured near Arua village
At four in the morning, the tyre of the canter got punctured near Arua village, four kilometres before Chhayansa toll. He was taking the vehicles coming from behind to the other side by showing the battery and brother Jagpal was changing the tyre of the canter. Then a double-decker bus came and the driver hit Jagpal. The driver took the bus off Jagpal and fled away. The police was informed about the incident on number 112. Jagpal died in this incident.
The Chayansa police station has registered a case against the bus driver for negligence and rash driving and has got the post-mortem of the deceased done at Badshah Khan Hospital on Friday.
