Charkhi Dadri. The main gate lock of the Manappuram Gold Loan branch located on Rohtak Road, just 250 meters away from the Sadar and City police stations of Dadri city, was broken and 5 kg gold and cash worth 14 lakh rupees were stolen. A total of seven crore rupees have been reported to have been stolen.
The incident was reported when the security guard of the Gold branch arrived in the morning. The police is now investigating the case by scanning the CCTV cameras nearby.
The thieves broke in by breaking the door
According to the preliminary information, the thieves broke the lock of the main door of the Gold Loan branch and entered inside and managed to reach the locker.
Security in-charge Satbir Singh Jangra said that when the security guard Shiva reached for duty in the morning, he saw that the lock of the gate was broken. He immediately informed the branch’s senior manager Prayas Khatri about this.
Gold of 400 people was kept in the branch
After this, police, fingerprint experts and crime investigation team reached the spot. There are a total of five staff members in the branch. Which includes two managers, a guard and two employees. The branch is operating here since 2019.
