During the encounter, a bullet hit the gangster’s leg, while another bullet hit the turban of a police employee. But the police employee narrowly escaped, while the bullet passed through his turban.

Police Commissioner Swapan Sharma said that the injured gangster has been identified as Suraj Shooter. He is a member of Gopi Lahoria gang. Recently, he had fired bullets at a birthday party in the area of Tibba Road. In connection with which the police had produced him in the court and obtained his remand.
