Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) chief Sukhbir Singh Badal praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his firm and clear vision for the success of Operation Sindoor.
Sukhbir said that the way Prime Minister Modi handled the situation in a diplomatic manner like a statesman, Pakistan had to run to Washington to beg for a ceasefire. He congratulated the brave armed forces.
Criticised those who commented on the ceasefire
Criticising the politicians who commented on the ceasefire, Sukhbir said that these are the leaders who, instead of seeing the damage caused by the fighting, were watching the fighting on television screens in their drawing rooms. Punjab has suffered the loss of all the wars fought with Pakistan so far.
The maximum number of shells have fallen here. The government has acted wisely by stopping the war. He said that some leaders want to sit outside the state and watch the war. The leaders here who are opposing the government’s decision by following their advice are the real enemies of the country.
‘Sikh community stood like a rock with the country’
Sukhbir Badal said that the Sikh community stood like a rock with the country in times of crisis. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and reiterated the opposition’s request in which they have demanded a special session of Parliament to discuss the 22 April Pahalgam attack, Operation Sindoor and the ceasefire announcement.
