There are thousands of families in Haryana (Haryana News) whose family income has suddenly reached zero. The state government has ordered to investigate the income of all such families, whose family income is seen as zero in the family identity card.
The government suspects that this scam has been done to get the benefits given to people living below the poverty line. The Family Identity Card Authority has sent its team to the field to investigate these cards.
Income of any family cannot be zero: Government
The Haryana government believes that the income of any family cannot be zero. If there is an elderly woman or man in a family, then if the amount of old age pension received by them is also included, then this amount becomes more than 70 thousand rupees annually.
Technically, this is happening because if the head of a family has shown his income of 50 thousand rupees annually in the family identity card, and he dies, then in such a situation his name will be removed from the PPP and the family income will become zero.
Earlier, there was an option to separate the family ID of the bride and groom while making the marriage certificate in the Parivar Pehchan Patra. Now it has been closed. Due to this also, the family ID cannot be separated and in case of death of the head of the family, the income of the family in PPP will become zero.
CM Saini ordered investigation
Chief Co-ordinator of Parivar Pehchan Patra Authority Satish Khola informed Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini about this. The Chief Minister immediately issued orders to investigate the income of all such families in the field, so that it can be ascertained whether the income of these families is actually zero or there is some technical flaw.
Initially, the Parivar Pehchan Patra Authority has received information that the income of about 50 thousand people is zero in PPP. After investigation on the ground, only the real people will be able to get the benefit of the government schemes, while those people will be caught, who have deliberately shown their income as zero in their family ID.
Data of 3 lakh people updated in Parivar Pehchan Patra
Recently, data of about three lakh people has been updated in Parivar Pehchan Patra, who have risen above the poverty line. BPL cards of such families have been cut. The income of these families has increased. Satish Khola says that this ambitious project of Union Minister Manohar Lal is being implemented and taken forward with full responsibility by Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini.
Test checking of Family ID is our normal process. If someone’s family income is shown as zero, then our FCP (field worker) checks it. This work is also given to the employees of CRID from time to time. This is our normal transparent process. If a person is taking wrong benefits, then it will not be allowed.
