Jalandhar MLA Raman Arora has been arrested by Vigilance. It is alleged that Raman Arora used to send false notices to innocent people through the officers of Jalandhar Municipal Corporation and then used to get those notices quashed by taking money.
Punjab’s Bhagwant Mann government has taken the biggest action against corruption. Vigilance team raided the house of Jalandhar MLA Raman Arora in a corruption case and arrested him.
Action was taken against Jalandhar Central MLA Raman Arora in a corruption case. According to the government spokesperson, Raman Arora used to send false notices to innocent people through the officers of Jalandhar Municipal Corporation. Then used to get those notices quashed by taking money. Arora’s security was also withdrawn a few days ago. His connection has been found with ATP Sukhdev Vashisht. He used to collect money by sending notices to big builders through ATP. Meanwhile, AAP spokesperson Sunny Ahluwalia said that Raman Arora has been arrested, after which action is being prepared against his close relative. Another leader’s name has also come up in the vigilance investigation. There is a fear that after this action, action may be taken against him too.
