Today (14 June) is the last day for registration of Common Eligibility Test (CET) 2025 for Group-C recruitment in Haryana. Candidates can deposit the fees till 12 midnight on 16 June. So far more than 10 lakh applications have been received on the official portal of Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC).
HSSC estimates that this figure may increase further. The commission had extended the time for registration by 2 days on 12 June. Chairman Advocate Himmat Singh says that a large number of youth have registered.
HSSC member Bhupendra Chauhan says that HSSC can conduct the exam this month, as summer vacations are going on right now. After the exam, the process of CET registration for Group-D will start. After this the exam will be conducted.
Question: How many registrations were done till the night of 13 June?
Answer: HSSC has not yet released the data of registration till 13 June. Commission member Bhupendra Singh Chauhan says that today is the last date for registration, so the final data will be released today.
Question: Can HSSC extend the registration date for the second time?
Answer: No such decision has been taken yet to extend the registration date. Since some youth were facing problems with caste certificate, the date was extended for 2 days on 12 June. Now the problem has been resolved.
Question: By when can the exam date be released?
Answer: The commission wants that the exam should be conducted in any case before the summer vacation ends in schools. A major reason for this is that there will be no problem of space for the exam right now. Private schools along with government are closed due to summer vacation. There will be no problem in conducting CET exam due to this reason.
Question: Will the exam be held in single shift or double shift?
Answer: This decision will be taken only after the final data of registration comes. Since the date of the exam has not been finalized yet, nothing can be said about the decision to conduct the exam in double or single shift.
Question: How many Group-C posts are vacant in Haryana?
Answer: This is just an eligibility test. Requirements for the posts keep coming from the department, the commission keeps issuing advertisements accordingly.
1. HSSC will focus on the exam center
Haryana Staff Selection Commission will start further preparations after registration. Under this, the exam centers will be decided according to the number of candidates who register. Although more than 2300 exam centers have already been prepared by the commission in all the districts of the state, but their number can be less or more.
2. CS will hold a meeting with DCs of all districts
The Chief Secretary of Haryana will hold a meeting with the DCs and SPs of all the districts. In this meeting, along with the exam centers, the government will also discuss about their security. In view of security, as far as possible, Section 144 can also be implemented in those districts.
Chairman said – there is no problem with captcha
HSSC Chairman Himmat Singh said that we have received information from many candidates through social media and messages that the captcha code is showing wrong at the time of registration. We investigated it and found that there is no problem related to the captcha code in the website. While filling the form, if you are facing this problem repeatedly, update your browser and clear the site cookies.
Now only one day is left to register for Common Eligibility Test (CET) 2025 in Haryana. If there are more registrations, then the exam will be held in 2 shifts. If this happens then HSSC will apply the normalization formula.
