After the registration and fee submission of Common Eligibility Test (CET) exam for Group-C in Haryana, the government has started preparing for the exam. The government is preparing to finalize the exam date soon. For this, Chief Secretary (CS) Anurag Rastogi has called a meeting with the DCs of all the districts today. A report has also been sought from the CID of the centers, when this report comes, the true picture of the centers will come out. On the basis of this report, some centers can be reduced or increased.
It is possible that the date of CET exam will be announced in the second week of July. A list of more than 2300 centers has been prepared by Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) for CET. The exam can be held in four shifts in these centers.
Cameras will be installed seven days in advance
The government wants the CET exam to be completely transparent. For this, cameras will be installed in every exam center. This process will start exactly seven days before the exam. The control room of the cameras will be made in the office of Haryana Staff Selection Commission. This time more than 13.48 lakh candidates have registered for CET.

1. The paper will be of 12th level
The paper of Haryana CET will be of the level of Senior Secondary i.e. 12th. However, the level of English and Hindi subjects will be of Matriculation i.e. 10th level. The exam will be on OMR sheet. This sheet will be given by HSSC in the exam center. In which you have to fill the circles by choosing the correct option. This exam will not be on computer.
2. The paper will be in both Hindi and English languages
The CET paper will be in 2 languages i.e. Hindi and English. The paper will have 100 questions. Every question will have 4 options. From which the correct answer has to be chosen and the correct option number has to be circled on the OMR sheet. It will be mandatory to answer every question. There will be no negative marking in case of wrong answer. If a youth does not want to answer, then he will have to mark the 5th circle or bubble. If this is not done and the answer of any question is left blank, then 1 mark will be deducted.
3. The paper will be of 1 hour 45 minutes
The CET paper will have a total of 100 questions. Each question will be of one mark. You will get 1 hour 45 minutes to complete it. Once the center is allotted, it will not be changed. If you are in the general category, then you will have to score 50% marks. If you are in a reserved category like SC, ST and OBC, then you will have to score 40% marks.
