The Haryana Education Department is busy preparing for the transfer drive of teachers. But the transfer drive is facing problems due to the wrong mobile numbers updated by the teachers on the Saksham Haryana Education Portal (MIS). The Director of Secondary Education has expressed displeasure over the wrong mobile numbers of the teachers, and has also given instructions to improve the MIS portal in the coming week.
During the transfer drive, OTP is coming on the mobile numbers of the teachers, but due to the wrong mobile number, it is not being received, which is causing problems. In view of these problems, the Director of Secondary Education has instructed all the District Education Officers to correct the wrong mobile numbers filled. So that the OTP coming during the transfer drive can be received by the teachers.
Claim was made to start the drive in June
Actually, the Education Department had claimed to start the transfer drive process in the month of June. The Education Minister of the state Mahipal Dhanda had said that the transfer drive would be run before the summer holidays. But the summer holidays have reached the last stage, but the transfer drive process has not started yet. The biggest reason for the transfer drive not starting is that teachers do not update their profiles on the MIS portal and provide incomplete information.
The drive will start after OTP is authenticated
The Director of Secondary Education has clearly instructed the District Education Officers that OTP will be sent to the mobile number for data verification to access various services on the MIS portal and to fill block school preferences and finalize other preferences. The next process will start only after the OTP is authenticated.
Along with this, the correct mobile number is required to receive SMS during the normal transfer process, for which OTP authentication is necessary because OTP will be sent only to the mobile number available on the MIS portal.
Guidelines for mobile number verification issued
The Director of Secondary Education has strictly instructed all the District Education Officers to correct the errors in the profiles of those teachers on the MIS portal regarding mobile number verification, whose mobile numbers are wrong. A guideline has been issued regarding mobile number verification.
Check the mobile number in the contact details on the teacher’s personal profile on MIS portal and submit after entering the OTP by clicking on the Verify button.
