Ludhiana, Punjab: The Ludhiana police have cracked the case of a 20-year-old woman, Radhika, whose decomposed body was found inside a rented room in Fatehganj locality on June 10. The breakthrough came after CCTV footage showed her live-in partner fleeing the scene. The accused, Sushil Kumar, was eventually arrested from Gonda (Uttar Pradesh).
Motive Revealed: Accused Cited Anger Over Victim’s Contact with Other Men
During police interrogation, the accused confessed that he strangled Radhika to death out of rage as she continued to maintain contact with her ex-husband Rahul and another man, despite repeated objections.
According to police, the couple had entered into a live-in relationship four months ago and had a symbolic marriage ceremony at a temple.
