Chandigarh, Haryana – The Haryana Government has issued a final reminder notice to 21 departments for failing to provide details of vacant Group-C posts, which are to be filled through promotion of Group-D employees.
Despite three official letters being sent, several departments have not yet responded. The Human Resources Department has warned that if data is not submitted by June 26, 2025, the issue will be escalated to Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi.
📌 Timeline of Reminders Sent:
-
First Letter: March 12, 2025
-
Second Reminder: April 4, 2025
-
Final Reminder: June 16, 2025
The notice has been issued by the Commissioner & Secretary of HR Dept. (Common Cadre-II), directing departments to submit data in the prescribed Excel format to supdtcc2@gmail.com by the given deadline.
👨💼 Why Promotions are Being Considered:
-
The state government has implemented a Common Cadre System for Group-D employees.
-
Employees appointed under this cadre are ranked based on merit, and are eligible for promotions to Group-C based on seniority.
-
Departments were asked to share:
-
Total sanctioned Group-C posts
-
Posts reserved for promotion
-
Current vacancies
-
Eligible employees from Common Cadre
-
Once this data is compiled, the promotion process from Group-D to Group-C will be initiated.
