Ferrari’s cheapest sports car Amalfi launched: Can accelerate from 0 to 100 in just 3.3 seconds, price ₹2.4 crores

Date:

Ferrari has launched the new sports car Amalfi in the global market. The Italian car maker has launched it as an entry-level sports car replacing the Ferrari Roma. Its starting price has been kept at 240,000 euros (about ₹2.4 crores). This is the company’s cheapest grand tourer sports car till date.

Booking of Amalfi has been started. Delivery in Europe will start from the first quarter of 2026. It will reach the US after 3 to 6 months. After this, right-hand-drive models will be launched in the Indian market. The company claims that the car can run from 0 to 100kmph in just 3.3 seconds.

The name of Ferrari Amalfi is inspired by Italy’s Amalfi Coast, which is a beautiful beach near the Gulf of Salerno in southern Italy. It will compete with Aston Martin DB12, Bentley Continental GT, Maserati GranTurismo and upcoming Aston Martin DB12 S.

Exterior design: Smooth door handles and 20-inch alloy wheels

Talking about the looks of Ferrari Amalfi, its aerodynamic design looks like a combo of sporty and style. The company says that the entire body of the car is completely new except the glasshouse top. The biggest change is seen in its front, where the shark nose and grill of Roma have been replaced by a design similar to Ferrari Purosangue SUV.

The new thin headlights are connected by a black bar. There are new design lips below it. There are new air ducts near the headlights, which reduce the air pressure and send more air to the turbos. Smooth curves and aerodynamic lines in the side profile of Amalfi give it sporty vibes. It has smooth door handles and 20-inch alloy wheels.

There is a new active spoiler at the rear, which manages the air better and generates 110kg of downforce at a speed of 250kmph. This is 110 kg more than Roma. That is, the car will remain firmly on the road even at high speed. At the rear, there is a slight change in the taillights and the position of the number plate on the diffusor has been slightly shifted.

The car has 35 color options. These include 8 standard, 6 historical, 14 classic, 6 special and 1 matte color.
