Apart from this, Ayushman Bharat Yojana is being run by the central government, which provides treatment up to Rs 5 lakh to people below the poverty line in government and listed hospitals across India. This scheme is applicable in all the states, but the participation of the state government is necessary in it.
Now people of all age groups will be able to take advantage of the new scheme that the Punjab government has brought. There is no such condition in this scheme that only so many percent of people will get its benefit, but for this it is only necessary to be a resident of Punjab.
