The examination fees for students studying in Chandigarh-based Punjab University (PU) and its affiliated colleges have now increased further. For the session 2025-26, the university has released a new schedule of examination fees, in which there has been an increase of up to 5 percent. The fees for various courses have been increased from Rs 100 to Rs 500.
Fees increased in these courses
BA (with practical): increased from 770 to 810
BA Honors/MA/MSc: 3210 to 3380
Hotel Management, Fashion Designing, MPEd, MTech: 3830 to 4030
Stem Cell: 5070 to 5330
MBA (Biotech): 5690 to 5900
Psychology (MA): 6310 to 6630
BDS: 11280 to 11850
MBBS: 12580 to 13140
LLB Third Year: 2010 to 2120
Exams will be held in December
PU has informed that the first semester of the session 2025-26 will start in July itself, while the exams will be held in December. For this, the examination form has to be filled in advance and the fee has to be paid along with it.
