A shocking accident took place early this morning near State Bank, Urmur Mod, where a high-speed Innova car lost control and crashed straight into a roadside crockery shop. The most heart-wrenching part? The shopkeeper and his entire family were asleep inside when the incident happened.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported, but the shop was heavily damaged, and chaos spread across the area.
🚨 Incident Details: What Happened?
According to eyewitnesses and the victim, Kamal, son of Mohan, a resident of Delhi, had temporarily set up a crockery stall in Urmar on the occasion of Baba Boota Bhagat Ji Mela. As part of his business schedule, Kamal was planning to move to the next mela venue in a few days.
This morning around 8:25 AM, Kamal and his family were sleeping inside the shop, which was set up beside the road. Suddenly, they were jolted awake by a loud crash.
🚗 Speeding Innova Loses Control
A speeding Innova vehicle, reportedly coming from the main highway, lost control and rammed directly into the shop structure, breaking through the front shutter and damaging most of the displayed crockery items.
Kamal shared:
“We were asleep inside when suddenly a loud crash shook us. As I woke up, I saw a car had smashed through the front of the shop. Most of our crockery was shattered and spread all over the road.”

Miraculously, none of the family members were injured, but Kamal said that the entire shop inventory was ruined, including expensive items meant for the next fair. Glassware, ceramic items, display counters, and shelves were shattered by the impact.
Locals gathered quickly to help pull the family out safely and secure the damaged area before it caused further risk to others.
