Meanwhile, a man died in Hansi, Hisar due to panic caused by lightning. He fainted after hearing the sound of lightning. The deceased has been identified as Gangadhar (50). The deceased has 2 children. His brother Jaiprakash said that all this happened suddenly. It seems that he might have got a heart attack due to the loud sound.
At the same time, a landslide has occurred at the Kanchi Mor near Pandoh Dam in Mandi district of Himachal. After this, the Chandigarh-Manali National Highway has been completely closed. Traffic on the road has come to a halt due to debris and stones falling from the hill. This has caused a jam of several kilometers on both sides. According to Mandi SP Sakshi Verma, the work of removing the debris is going on but it may take some time to restore it. Keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers, the administration has suggested an alternative route via Katola-Kamand.
