‘Will this also be banned?’: Pakistani flags on Ludhiana set of Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar’ evoke sharp reactions

Date:

Pakistani flags erected on the sets of the Ranveer Singh-starrer Dhurandhar in Punjab’s Ludhiana have evoked sharp reactions from social media users.

In videos from the shooting set that have gone viral, Singh and co-actor Arjun Rampal were seen filming action scenes with Pakistani flags in the background. The village was also given a makeover with Urdu phrases painted on the walls.

As the videos began circulating, many social media users sought to know why the authorities allowed Pakistani flags to be put up on Indian soil. “Hun eh vi ban hougi kyunki iss vich Pakistan da flag hai? (Will this also be banned as it has a Pakistani flag?),” a social media user asked on Instagram.
