Nawanshahr: Strict orders have been issued for drivers. District Magistrate Ankurjit Singh has issued orders banning common citizens from driving two-wheelers with their face covered/mouth tied within the district limits. This ban will not apply to those persons who are wearing masks or any other thing under medical supervision due to any disease or allergy.
The orders issued state that robbery incidents are usually carried out by drivers (especially two-wheeler drivers) with their faces covered in the markets and covering the face makes it difficult to identify the criminals. Therefore, the said orders have been issued to prevent criminal incidents by covering the face in the district.
Orders issued to ban changing silencers of two-wheelers and bursting crackers
The District Magistrate has completely banned changing silencers of two-wheelers and bursting crackers within the district limits. According to the orders issued, in view of preventing noise pollution and protecting the health of common citizens in the district, there will be a ban on changing silencers of two-wheelers and bursting crackers. This order will also apply to shopkeepers/mechanics changing silencers and vehicle owners bursting crackers.
