Nawanshahr: Strict orders of restrictions have been issued in the district. District Magistrate Ankurjit Singh has issued orders for a complete ban on the use of fireworks, firecrackers (bombs, air crackers and Chinese crackers) in the district.
According to the orders issued, it has been observed that people use fireworks/firecrackers, which include bombs, air crackers, Chinese crackers etc., the noise generated by which creates fear among the common people and there is a danger of law and order situation deteriorating. Keeping this in mind, there will be a complete ban on the use of these firecrackers/fireworks. These orders will remain in force till September 10.
