Dismissed constable Amandeep Kaur of Thar, who was involved in the drug smuggling case, has got a big blow from the Punjab and Haryana High Court. The court has rejected the bail plea of Amandeep Kaur.

It is being told that Amandeep Kaur was arrested after an FIR was registered against her for drug smuggling. Police recovered chitta (heroin) from her Thar vehicle, after which she was dismissed from the job.

After spending a month in jail, she was released on bail. But then the Vigilance Department arrested her again in the case of disproportionate assets. Along with this, her property worth Rs 1.35 crore was also frozen.
