Bus Adda Police Station Incharge Mohinder Singh said that accused Vishal Mishra and his absconding partner Sachin Soni had stolen 320 grams of gold ornaments worth Rs. 25 lakhs from Hotel Residency located near the bus stand on 8th July from the house of complainant Manpreet Singh son of Hardeep Singh resident of house number-60 Garden Estate Verka Plant Bypass Amritsar, after which the police had registered FIR number-130 against Vishal Mishra and his partner Sachin Soni in Police Station Division Number-6.
Bus Adda Police Chowki Incharge Mohinder Singh said that during the police remand, the interrogation of Vishal Mishra revealed that he is a dangerous gangster of UP, against whom 16 cases are registered in different police stations, which include 8 cases of murder and other serious crimes in Police Stations Sikarrara and Madiahu Jaunpur, 1 case of robbery in Police Station Kerakat District Jaunpur, 1 case of attempted murder in Police Station Chandbak District Jaunpur, 6 cases under Arms Act and robbery in Police Station Jalalpur District Jaunpur.
He has been to jail several times and is also wanted by the police of District Jaunpur in several cases. According to Bus Adda Chowki Chief Mohinder Singh, the investigation also revealed that Sachin Soni, son of Pramod Soni, resident of village Sahaso District Prayagraj, UP, who absconded with the jewellery. The real name of the accused is Himanshu son of Shiv Asare Singh resident of village Mansapur district Jaunpur (U.P.), which has been confirmed by technical investigation and statements of his mother. Therefore, section 319 (2) BNS has been added to the case registered against him. Police raids are being conducted to arrest him. After the end of police remand of Vishal Mishra, he has been sent to jail on the orders of the honorable court.
