The weather in Punjab is going to change once again in the coming 3 hours. According to the latest warning of the Meteorological Department, heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected in many districts of the state in the next 3 hours.
According to the warning issued, the districts include Barnala, Bathinda, Faridkot, Fatehgarh Sahib, Ferozepur, Hoshiarpur, Jalandhar, Kapurthala, Ludhiana, Malerkotla, Mansa, Moga, Patiala, Sangrur, SBS Nagar (Nawanshahr). The Punjab State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) has advised the citizens of all the districts to be cautious through messages and asked to call 112 immediately in case of any emergency.
It is worth mentioning that it has been raining heavily in the state since morning. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain in many districts of the state on 22nd, 23rd and 24th. On 22nd i.e. today, a yellow alert has been issued for heavy rain in Pathankot, Hoshiarpur, Fatehgarh Sahib, Rupnagar, S.A.S. Nagar, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Patiala, Nawanshahr and Tarn Taran.
