The court of Additional Sessions Judge Jaswinder Singh has fixed 24th July for the next hearing on the bail plea of Mahesh Mukhija, a close aide of Jalandhar Central MLA Raman Arora, arrested in a corruption case. According to the information, the medical report was not presented in the court today by the jail administration. And no reply has been given by the Vigilance Bureau either.
Mahesh Mukhija was recently arrested by the Vigilance Department on charges of corruption and misuse of government funds. It is being told that he is very close to MLA Raman Arora and has allegedly been involved in many financial irregularities. Raman Arora himself is also under investigation in these cases.
