The second shift exam of the second day of Common Eligibility Test (CET) 2025 has started in Haryana. The second shift exam will be conducted from 3:15 pm to 5 pm, for which the entry time was fixed till 2:45 pm. Today, a total of about 6.73 lakh candidates are appearing in the examination. At the same time, the first session exam was completed peacefully. The first session exam was completed from 10 am to 11:45 am.
Emotional and inspirational scenes
Not only strictness at the examination centers, but many emotional and inspirational scenes also came to the fore. In Rewari, a candidate reached the exam despite a fracture in his hand. He was searched after removing the bandage. A pregnant woman took the exam in Karnal, in Faridabad a couple reached the examination center with their 2-month-old child. In Rewari, the amplifier of a young man playing songs at high volume was confiscated. Roadways arranged a special bus for a female candidate who arrived late at Ratia in Fatehabad.
A student was injured in Karnal, whom the SDM himself took to the hospital first and then dropped her to the examination center.
Dispute in Rohtak, DC gave strict instructions
At an examination center in Rohtak, women’s dupattas were hung on the door outside the gate, which caused resentment among the candidates. As soon as the information was received, DC Dharmendra Singh reached the spot and immediately ordered to return the dupattas.
There was also chaos at some places
Candidates had to face inconvenience due to lack of adequate information of duty staff at some centers. There was a situation of dispute at many centers regarding personal belongings, money and mobile. Many candidates even had to leave their money outside the center. At present, the CET exam is being conducted under strict surveillance and extensive security. The administration says that arrangements will be further strengthened to reduce any kind of trouble in the coming shifts.
