Industries are continuously migrating from Haryana,

youth are getting trapped in the quagmire of unemployment, crime and drugs – Bhupendra Hooda: Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda has said that due to the anti-Haryana policies of the BJP, industries are continuously migrating from the state. Recently, there was news that the plywood and utensils industry of Yamunanagar and the textile industry of Panipat are on the verge of closure. Now the latest report has revealed that in the last 3 years, more than 100 rice mills of Haryana have also shifted to Madhya Pradesh. This is not only a shock for a state with an agriculture-based economy, but also a matter of shame for the government. Because due to this, the state will suffer a revenue loss of Rs 100 crore every year. Along with this, employment of 20 to 25 thousand people will also be snatched away every year. Hooda said that during the Congress tenure, paddy farmers used to get the highest rate in the country. That is why farmers used to happily chant the slogan – Congress tere raj me, jiri gai jahaj mein. Due to this, the farmers of the state worked hard and Haryana’s share in the country’s rice export reached 60 percent. But due to BJP’s anti-Haryana and anti-farmer policies, this share has now remained barely 40 percent. In 3 years, more than 100 rice mills from Yamunanagar, Karnal, Tarawadi, Cheeka, Gharaunda, Kurukshetra, Nising, Kaithal, Ambala, Fatehabad, Sirsa, Tohana and Ratia have migrated to Madhya Pradesh. 30 to 40 businessmen have also bought land in Madhya Pradesh to build new rice mills and warehouses. Because despite repeated demands, the BJP government did not reduce the market fee. In Haryana, 4 percent market fee is levied on the rice industry, whereas in Madhya Pradesh it is only 1.20 percent. Not only this, the BJP government of Haryana has also dealt a heavy blow to the industry by increasing the electricity rates wildly. The remaining task was completed by the uncontrolled crime, hooliganism, mafia, threats and extortion environment and forced the businessmen to leave the state.

Industry migrating towards Uttar Pradesh

Bhupinder Singh Hooda said that the medium and small industries, which have been in constant crisis since demonetization and then Corona, have not been able to recover till now. Because the state government has not given them any kind of financial assistance, no concessions and no facilities. For example, the plywood industry is considered the identity of Yamunanagar. But now this industry is migrating towards Uttar Pradesh. Because the UP government is creating clusters for the wood industry and is giving a lot of relaxation to the business. Whereas the BJP government of Haryana has no attention towards this. Due to this, the 380 units which were running here in the year 2017 have now reduced to only 160. That is, almost half the units have migrated from here. Similarly, the industries of Panchkula are also migrating towards Baddi in Himachal Pradesh. Industries of Gurugram and Faridabad are moving to Noida-Ghaziabad. Haryana has become the number one state in the country in unemployment, crime, drug addiction, migration, corruption

Hooda said that ever since BJP has come to power, there is silence in the state in the name of big investments. During the Congress government, the maximum investment around Delhi used to come in various areas of Haryana including Gurugram, Faridabad, Sonipat, Panipat, Rewari and Rohtak. But in the last 11 years, let alone new investments, even the already established industries are continuously migrating. Due to this, the state has completely lagged behind in terms of employment generation and today Haryana remains the leader in unemployment in the entire country. If we talk about industry, during the Congress tenure, 6 new IMTs (HSDIC industrial areas) were built in the state. Big industries like Maruti, Asian Paints, NTPC, Reliance, Honda, IOC, Panasonic, Yokohama, Denso were established in the state. Rail coach factory and international airport were also sanctioned and Haryana was made number one in per capita income, per capita investment and employment. But BJP did not establish a single IMT in its entire tenure. Not a single big investment came. Due to increasing crime, an atmosphere of terror was created in the industry and small and big industries migrated from here. Projects like approved rail coach factory and international airport were shifted out of Haryana. Due to this, the state became number one in the country in unemployment, crime, drug addiction, migration and corruption.
