President gives approval The President of India has approved the appointment of 10 new additional judges for the Punjab and Haryana High Court. These appointments have been made under Article 224 (1) of the Indian Constitution, which allows the appointment of additional judges as per the need.
The Ministry of Law and Justice issued a notification in this regard on August 1, 2025. All the judges will hold their respective posts for a term of two years.
The names of the newly appointed judges are as follows:
