The accused peon gradually stole about 37 tolas of gold kept in the bank’s vault, whose estimated value is about Rs 40 lakh.

According to the information, the accused peon Gurpreet Singh once again stole the keys of the bank manager and loan officer with the intention of stealing gold from the vault and tried to open the locker. But during this time the deputy manager reached the locker room and caught him red-handed.
