A meeting of the Gram Panchayat was held in village Bagli Kalan under the leadership of Sarpanch Balwinder Singh, in which present Panchs, former Sarpanchs and residents of the town participated. On this occasion, the Panchayat passed some resolutions after deliberation, so that brotherhood in the town can be strengthened by taking decisions in public interest. According to the resolution passed to stop the deteriorating relations in the region and the state these days, if a boy or girl marries in the village itself, then he or she will not be allowed to live in the village. If the parents bring them to their home, then the Panchayat and the town should socially boycott them. On this occasion, the dignitaries said that getting married in this village will not only endanger the brotherhood of the town, but will also have a bad effect on the coming generation.
Proposal also passed on congratulating
Regarding another demand of the town, a resolution was passed that if someone gets married or a boy gets married in the town, then the Scheduled Caste community will give a congratulatory gift of Rs 1100 and the General category will give a congratulatory gift of Rs 2100. If someone gives more than this amount, he can be called in the Panchayat.
Ban on Gujjars roaming cattle on roads
According to the third resolution passed, buffaloes roaming in large numbers by Gujjars on roads and other places have been banned, because these buffaloes not only harm agriculture but also break the plants planted by the Panchayat and environmentalists, due to which the Panchayat has had to pass this resolution. The town has agreed to the above proposals. On this occasion, Sarpanch Balwinder Singh, former Sarpanch Prakash Singh, Amninder Singh Nona, Balwinder Singh, Satnam Singh, Gurcharan Singh, Mukhtiar Singh, Ujaagar Singh, Pala Singh, Mewa Singh, Bahadur Singh, Gursharan Singh, Surinder Singh and Ambu Singh and other city residents participated.
