The scooter of 3 youths returning from friend’s birthday party collided with the electric pole in front of Prem Dhaba near the local bus stand and in this tragic accident, 2 youths aged between 20 to 23 years died on the spot while a 22-year-old youth was seriously injured.
According to the information received from Bus Adda Police Station in-charge Mohinder Singh, the said accident took place on Monday between 4:30 and 5 am. All the three youths were riding a brown coloured Activa (number PB08FE-0904). All the three youths were coming from Alipur side of village located near Sofi Pind and they had to go to their respective homes.
Chowki incharge Mohinder Singh said that the deceased have been identified as Vansh son of Deepak Kumar resident of house number-1110 Valmiki Mohalla Garha police station division number-7 Jalandhar and Sunil Kumar Sheela son of Vijay Kumar resident of village Sansarpur police station Jalandhar Cantt while the injured youth has been named as Chetan son of Vikas Kumar resident of house number-1124 Valmiki Mohalla Garha Jalandhar. The police of Bus Adda Chowki took necessary legal action and got the post mortem of the deceased youths Vansh and Sheela done at the Civil Hospital and handed over the bodies to the relatives.
