3 hotels raided, half a dozen arrested Strict steps are being taken by the police administration regarding the prostitution business running in the hotels of the city. Police has arrested half a dozen accused by raiding various hotels. In this regard, police has also registered cases against 10-12 people. According to the information, Kotwali police station raided Palm Hotel and Paris Hilton Hotel running in the city.
Police arrested Gurtej Singh resident Bathinda, Sukhwinder Singh resident Kallo and Lakhvir Singh resident Kaljhrani from Palm Hotel on charges of running prostitution business. Similarly, from Paris Hilton Hotel, police registered a case against accused Sandeep Singh resident Rama Mandi, Pankaj resident Sangat and Happy resident Bathinda as well as some unknown accused, while police arrested one accused Sandeep Singh on the spot.
Police have registered cases against the accused in Kotwali police station. Similarly, on the complaint of Manpreet Singh resident Nahiyanwala, Civil Lines Police Station raided Hotel Royal Inn and arrested the accused Sandeep Singh resident Khayaliwala and Yadvinder Singh resident Chandbhan who were running prostitution business in the hotel. Police have registered a case against the accused and further action is being taken.
