2 policemen posted in PAP have been arrested along with 2 other colleagues for smuggling drugs. According to the information received, the team of Commissionerate Police’s Special Cell had received information from an informer. Based on this information, 4 drug smugglers were arrested with 11 grams of heroin near KFC restaurant in Rama Mandi.
Among the arrested smugglers, Navdeep Singh posted in Jalandhar PAP, Navpreet Singh, resident of PAP Complex and Sukh Simran Singh, son of an RCF jawan posted in RCF Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala, Jeetpal Singh, resident of Sant Nagar. These four were caught near KFC restaurant in Rama Mandi when they came to take supply of heroin.

Vijay Kumar said that he was on patrol near the KFC restaurant located in Rama Mandi area. On the basis of suspicion, he arrested 4 youths and recovered 11 grams of heroin from their possession. According to police officials, all four accused have been produced in the court and taken on remand. Big revelations are expected during interrogation.
