Two Nihangs cut the wrist of a city youth after a quarrel over something last night on the service road near Sahil Hotel on Rupnagar National Highway.
According to the information received, the wrist of Manpreet Singh (33) son of Inderjit Singh, a resident of Sun City, was cut with a sharp weapon, due to which the young man’s hand got separated from his arm. Both the accused fled in the darkness of the night.
In this regard, SHO of Police Station City Inspector Pawan Kumar said that the police is searching for the accused. He said that the injured youth was first brought to a private hospital in the city, from where he was immediately sent to PGI.
