Primary teachers in Haryana who have been dreaming of their transfer for many years will have to wait for 2 months now. Chief Minister’s Deputy Principal Secretary Yashpal Yadav has assured that general transfers of teachers will be done by October. The government said that the process of transfer of primary teachers will be started soon.
The delegation including Haryana Primary Teacher Association State President Hariom Rathi and Treasurer Chatar Singh said that they have submitted a demand letter to the Deputy Chief Minister regarding the transfer. In this demand letter, there is a demand to approve the post of head teacher in all primary schools and promote the head teacher, appoint sweepers, make the student teacher ratio 25:1, not make teachers do non-educational work, remove the condition of 50 percent marks in the promotion of primary teachers and apply ACP and do all pending promotions immediately.
Apart from this, demands have been made for medical leave, promotion quota for the post of school lecturer like art teachers and PTI, cashless treatment, fixing promotion quota from head teacher to basic headmaster, calculating marks of service period by amending transfer policy and restoring old pension scheme
