Departmental Exam, shocking figures came out
Haryana Jail Department had organized a departmental exam for promotion in March this year. Jail Superintendent, Deputy Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent and Assistant Deputy Superintendent participated in the exam. The result of the exam has been released. Shocking figures have come out in the exam result. 98 percent of the police officers who gave the exam could not pass the paper.
If we talk about the worst result, then out of 41 police officers who took the Financial Rule paper, only 1 police officer was able to pass the exam. The rest 40 candidates failed in the paper. Not only this, the most surprising thing is that out of 32 candidates who gave the Hindi exam, half of them failed. Out of the 16 candidates who passed, eight passed in the higher level and the same number passed in the lower level. Whereas the primary Hindi language in the state is Hindi.
According to the notification of the Jail Department, out of 41 candidates, 23 failed in the paper of Punjab Jail Manual (excluding appendix), out of which only four passed in the higher standard category and the rest passed in the lower standard category.
Out of 26 employees who appeared for the Jail Manual paper, 13 failed. Only two employees came in the higher level category. The rest passed in the lower level. The worst result was of the Criminal Law paper. 18 out of 24 employees failed in this paper. Out of the six who passed, five were included in the lower level category. Failure in these exams can cause problems to these officers like delay in salary hike, reduction in promotion or non-confirmation of service. Although police officers get ample opportunities to pass the paper. At the same time, some police officers say that it is difficult to prepare for the exam while working.
