India is celebrating its 79th Independence Day today. Flag hoisting ceremonies were held at many places in Punjab too. On this occasion, a case of a NCC student’s condition deteriorating during the parade has come to light.
According to the information received, during the Independence Day celebrations at Dana Mandi in Ajanala, Amritsar, just before the parade, the condition of a student suddenly deteriorated. On the spot, Tehsildar Gurmukh Singh of Ajnala immediately sent the student to the hospital in his car for treatment, where she is being treated. It is being told that, before the parade started, the girl started feeling dizzy and she fell unconscious on the ground. At present, the student is out of danger.
