New numbers of death toll have emerged after a heart-wrenching incident in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir. According to the information, 56 people have died in this accident so far, including two CRPF jawans. More than 100 people have been injured and more than 200 people are feared missing.
Chashoti village is located on the Machail Mata temple route, which is used by devotees as a base camp. At the time of the accident, a large number of devotees were staying in tents here. The sudden flood due to cloudburst did not give anyone a chance to recover. Looking at the pictures of the village, it seems as if someone has ripped the earth. Debris is scattered far and wide, in which cars, bikes and houses are all destroyed.
