Police has taken on remand for one day the fraudster Dr. Pushkar Goyal, who was arrested in the fraud running in the name of Goyal Immigration and Education Expert inside the Kothi in Urban State. Police investigation revealed that Ayurvedic Dr. Pushkar Goyal used to make fake degrees and certificates of schools and colleges abroad to send children abroad on study visa.
On Friday, when the police of Thana 7 interrogated the accused Pushkar Goyal, it was found that many famous agents of the city used to get fake degrees and certificates made from him for which he used to charge a huge amount. He used to get most of the fees transferred to the bank accounts of the staff members. Along with the person running an agency with his wife on Ladowali Road, the names of many travel agents near Gadha, Bus Stand may come to light.
On the other hand, ACP. Model Town’s Rupdeep Kaur said that in this case, Dr. Pushkar Goyal has been arrested and is being questioned on remand. She said that it is part of the investigation that from whom did the accused get the fake documents made using the seals of foreign schools and colleges and who else was involved with him. ACP Kaur said that strict action will also be taken against the travel agents who used to get fake documents made by the accused.
Let us tell you that a woman working in Goyal Immigration and Education Expert had complained to Police Commissioner Dhanpreet Kaur that Dr. Pushkar Goyal rents a bungalow in Urban State and makes fake degrees and certificates there which are then sold to agents. Apart from this, the woman had also handed over some videos to the CP in which the women staff were serving alcohol to the agents and dancing with them. The CP immediately raided the bungalow and arrested the staff members and professional fraudster Pushkar Goyal red handed. Fake documents, seals, liquor bottles etc. were recovered from the bungalow. A case was registered against Goyal in Police Station 7 but the staff was released by the police after warning. Pushkar Goyal has been arrested twice in cases of fraud before this. He returned from bail only in December 2024.
