The news of a tragic accident came late night from the Green Model Town area of the city. According to the information, a speeding car hit the bike riders near Vinay Mandir on Saturday night. In the accident, Zomato’s delivery boy died on the spot while his companion’s leg was broken. The deceased youth is said to be a resident of Rama Mandi.
According to the people present at the spot, after the collision, the car driver left the vehicle and fled from the spot. The car is said to be of Dhruv, the 25-year-old son of the owner of Chhabra Collection, a big textile businessman. However, it is not clear who was driving the car at the time of the accident.
SHO of Thana-6 Ajab Singh said that the speed of the car was very high, due to which this accident happened. At the same time, the latest information has come to the fore that Chhabra Collection and the family of the deceased Zomato delivery boy have reached a settlement.
