Due to continuous rain since late night, a two-storey dilapidated building collapsed in Baag Wali Gali in the inner area of the city at around 5:30 am on Monday. Due to the collapse of the building, the debris spread all over the road, due to which people had to face a lot of trouble in commuting.
It is worth noting that a five-storey shopping complex and basement have also been built in a part of this building. Local people say that many storey buildings and complexes have been built illegally in such narrow markets, but due to the negligence of the department, this danger is increasing continuously. At present, there is no report of any loss of life or property in the accident, but the incident has definitely raised questions on administrative negligence.
