Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Harmeet Singh Pathan Majra from Sanaur constituency of Patiala district of Punjab has been arrested by the police from Haryana. According to the information, this arrest has been made in an old case under section 376.
The special thing is that the security of MLA Pathan Majra was withdrawn by the government only yesterday. It is being told that Pathan Majra was making statements against his own government for the last three-four days and he had directly blamed the Chief Officer of the Irrigation Department, Krishna Kumar, for the recent floods.
After the arrest of the MLA, political activity has intensified in the area. An official statement from the police is yet to come in this matter.
