2 motorcycles collided head-on in village Khiyala Kalan of the district. 2 people including former Sarpanch died in this accident. The accident happened when both the motorcycles collided while overtaking a bus. The Thuthiawali outpost police started further action after sending the bodies of both to the civil hospital. The deceased have been identified as Kuldeep Singh (26) and former Sarpanch Bikar Singh (75).
Kuldeep Singh was going from Mansa to his village Bhupal. While overtaking a bus near village Khiyala, his motorcycle collided with the motorcycle of former Sarpanch Bikar Singh, who was coming out of his house. Both died on the spot in this collision.
Thuthiawali police station in-charge Deep Singh said that Kuldeep Singh and elderly former Sarpanch Bikar Singh died in a road accident in village Khiyala Kalan. The police have recorded the statements of both the families and the investigation into the case is underway.
