The weather in Punjab has changed once again. Heavy rains have been falling since morning in various districts of Punjab, including Chandigarh. Sri Kiratpur Sahib has also witnessed the devastation of heavy rains. Due to the heavy rains, the ravine in Dabar village is overflowing. Meanwhile, people are stranded there. Schoolchildren and working people were seen suffering. Horrific images of Dabar village have also emerged. The images show the dire situation caused by the heavy rains.
It is worth noting that the Meteorological Department had already predicted heavy rains in various parts of the state on September 18 and 19, which will cause a drop in temperatures. According to information received from the IMD, Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Hoshiarpur, Nawanshahr, Rupnagar, and Mohali are particularly likely to receive heavy rainfall. Rain is also likely in Tarn Taran, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Barnala, Mansa, Sangrur, Fatehgarh Sahib and Patiala districts.
