Additional District Magistrate-cum-Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Amarinder Kaur, exercising her powers under Section 6(1) of the Punjab Travel Professionals Regulation Act, 2012, has cancelled the licenses of five travel agencies in the district.
According to the order issued by the Additional District Magistrate, M/s Bains Travels (323/10, Ground Floor, Mohalla Arya Nagar, Kartarpur, Jalandhar), owned by Kulwinder Bains, wife of Sukhwinder Bains, resident of House No. 352, Arya Nagar, Kartarpur, Jalandhar, has had her license number 213/MC-1/MA cancelled on her own application. Similarly, the license number 620/ALC-4/LA/FN859 of Emerge Enterprises (118, 1st Floor, Silver Plaza, Sodal Road, Jalandhar), owned by Harpreet Singh Flora, son of Amarjit Singh Flora, resident of House No. 3, Brij Nagar, near Sodal Railway Crossing, Jalandhar, has been cancelled.
