Due to Navratri, a large crowd of devotees is being seen at Maa Vaishno Devi. Thousands of devotees attended the court of Mother Bhagwati on the second Navratri on Tuesday. Statistics show that till now, 26032 devotees have bowed down and received blessings at the court of Mother Vaishno Devi in the first two Navratris. It is estimated that the number of devotees may increase significantly during the upcoming Navratris.
According to the data received from the spokesperson of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, on Monday, on the first Navratri, 13,555 devotees bowed down and received blessings at the court of Mother Vaishno Devi. On Tuesday, on the second Navratri too, chants of Mother Goddess were heard on the Vaishno Devi Yatra route including Katra since morning.
Even on Tuesday, by 10 pm, 12,477 pilgrims had already completed their Yatra registration from Katra and proceeded to Vaishno Devi Bhawan.
Various Indian flowers have been used in the decoration of Vaishno Devi Bhawan, including marigolds, rajnis, and tassels from Kolkata, roses, gerberas, and daisies from Bengaluru, and anthuriums from Kerala. Flowers imported from abroad, such as lilies, orchids, cymodiums, potias, and tulips, also add to the splendor of Vaishno Devi Bhawan.
Shat Chandi Maha Yagya is creating a devotional atmosphere
The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board is organizing the Shat Chandi Maha Yagya at Vaishno Devi Bhawan, praying for the prosperity of the nation. The echo of chanting mantras during this Maha Yagya is adding to the devotional atmosphere of the entire Vaishno Devi Bhawan.
SDM Bhawan Anshumali was present as the special host during this Maha Yagya on Wednesday. He offered oblations in this great yagya. It should be noted that this great yagya will conclude on Ram Navami. A feast will also be organized afterward.
