The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed an FIR under the UAPA (Unlawful Activities Prevention Act) against the Khalistani organization “Sikhs for Justice” (SFJ) and its chief Gurpatwant Singh Pannu.
This action follows Pannu’s statement to journalists in Pakistan, in which he offered a reward of ₹11 crore for preventing Prime Minister Narendra Modi from hoisting the tricolor at the Red Fort. He also attempted to incite Indian Sikh soldiers. He claimed to have formed a “group of martyrs” to fight for Khalistan. Furthermore, Pannu released a map of Khalistan, showing Delhi, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh as part of Khalistan, along with Punjab.
